about

The 4th official studio album from former Vindicated Records artist Natalie Grace Martin, "She/Her/Hers" is also Natalie's first record of original music since her transition to female. She had previously released "Rules Are For Breaking," an acoustic piano album of pop covers, in 2015. Under her former alias C. Mardo Martin, she released two albums of solo original music: the eclectic pop collection "Such A Mess It's Beautiful" in 2012, and her focused, rock opus "UltraHeavy" in 2013.
Martin named her newest album "She/Her/Hers" because, in her words, "Choosing our pronouns is usually the first dramatic act of ownership a trans person makes over their new identity. So, since this is my first dramatic act of ownership over my music, I decided to title it the same way I titled myself."
Natalie Grace Martin composed, produced, recorded, programmed, and mixed all the songs for "She/Her/Hers" on a Yamaha Motif ES-7 Synthesizer Workstation. She recorded the vocals using an EV ND-67 stage microphone. The album was mastered by Rick Fuller at Ricky Recordo Studios. The album artwork was designed by Madeline Eckhart and Natalie Grace Martin.
"She/Her/Hers" is undeniably pop, with a clear message of optimism, self-love and confidence. From start to finish, Ms. Martin's senior album is a romp through the mind of a thoroughly happy woman, as surprising and refreshing as the woman herself.
